I used port 69 rather than 150 which work. Using port 150 just had the phone going through a constant loop

The error message I encounterd was [Can't copy Inf file. Faled to install] which is different from the others here, but your method worked !

I would like to know the following scenario:
I want to put Option 66 is the first choice and Option 150 is the second choice. What happens if Option 66 is not working due to no DNS server is available, will the phone use the option 150 after failed to reach the tftp server?
I am using Option 66 with hostname instead of IP Address.

Please advise.

I’m happy to tell everyone that I follow this guide to convert cisco 7912 to a sip phone without any hassles. The problem I first had was, I forgot to open port 69 on the APF firewall. Immediately I opened the port, the phone pulled all the files stated above. No more, no less.
I used my elastix box tftpboot to host the sip files.
